I am considering putting together a package for adhoc/emergency childminding.

I have had my eperinces with adhoc childminding and emergencies where parents have ask for my services then not taken it up for different reasons

I will enclose my charges for these services

A deposit which needs to be paid if they do want my services then they loose their depoist (how much to charge?)

What else should I include?

I am quite flexible with my parents who have contracts with me.

Thanks for your time everyone!

I do adhoc care. Parents pay in advance and the place is not definite until payment is received. I found myself turning other people away and then not getting paid for cancellations.

I also specify full payment on booking, non-refundable, as I've also had people mess me about.

Thanks for that

Has anyone got a package together separate from their normal contracts?

Any suggestions on how to word it.

I guess sometimes parents use cm's has a backup just in case. I want to be professional yet friendly.

I want to give this package to paretns who use my services whenever or if an emergency arises.

What do you charge for adhoc or emergencies compared to your normal charges.

I charge my normal rate during normal working days. I charge more for after 5.30pm, bank holidays etc. I ditto minderjinx. The parents pay upfront on booking and the sum is non-refundable.

Thanks new2cm.

I want to put this is writing to cover myself.

I have had situations where I have had to send reminders for payment.

Have you got a specifice peiece of paper which you give to parent with the details on?
