We need our nanny to sleep over for 1 night when we go to a wedding in June. Does anyone know how this works pay wise? Do I just pay her normal hourly rate?

I do sleep overs and I charge my normal hourly rate £8 per hour and £40 for the night. Usually I begin to charge around 8am when the children are up.I have a couple of overnights coming up and one is from 5pm til 2pm next day this will work out around £120.5pm til 12am £8 an hour,12am til 8pm £40 and then 8am til 2pm £8 an hour.Usually it is £150 per 24 hours.I do know some nannies who charge their usual hourly rate for all night.

In the passed I have charged £8 per hour til midnight. £20 to stay over then you start to charge again when the first child wake...even if it's 4am!

I do this a lot

Normal hourly rate till midnight (like bs) which for me is £10ph then sleepover fee of £30

So an average 7pm to 7am is £80

As you can see there is a variety of ways to charge, I charge my normal rate of £10 up till 9pm then I charge £6 per hour till 7am then back to day rate, which roughly works out much the same as blondes.

But if you have a young baby/bad sleeper who is up every hour on the hour then I would charge per hour to 7am

But yes the 3 of us all charge different but total cost seems roughly the same

I pay £8/hour til 11, then £50 overnight and usual day rate from when the child(ren) wake up.

I charge £80 weeknight and £100 weekend for 7-7 for babies and children that sleep through the night, if they wake during the night then I charge my hrly rate of £12-£15 an hr.

Have a rough figure in mind and discuss with nanny and see if you have the same ideas/can comprimise on an amount.
