hi guys
hope you all ok and had a lovely weekend....right, I have just had a week off due to parents being away - I am nanny with own child and have care arangements in place according to the deal/contract I agreed with the parents.
now they got back on friday and text me this morning at 8am (yawwnn) to ask If i can use my car for work as they need both of their cars (dad starting a new job this wk). Problem being we only have 1 car and my hubby needs it to get to work on time and also pick up our little boy as is normal for a monday. So, I have been calling GP all day to try and rearrange my childcare so that I could use my car. I was unable to do so as they already busy.
So my hubby needs car as normal, I text back saying I cant use my car as it affects my childcare arrangements and doesnt suit at such short notice.
They have now text back asking me to meet them at their place of work instead so I can collect one of the cars. Normally I dont have any costs getting to work as hubby drops me off and no he cant as it again means he will be late for work etc etc.
If hubby cant drop me off I normally walk with my little one as only takes 30 mins, so not too bad. However their place of work is a 15 min car ride and totally unwalkable, espcially with a little one and t would take an hour and half to do the walk!! They want me there for 9am...
Are you still with me? lol....so I have offered to get a cab but asked them to pay as its not a cost i would normally have and they are asking me to go somewhere that isnt my place of work? Plus I cant afford random cabs, we just havent budgeted for it!
Bearing in mind I have just had a week off, had I of known, I could have sorted this then rather than this text frenzy because they havent thought things through!
Also I am a little peeved as I asked if I could borrow their car when they dont need it as its only a couple of miles and they said no but expect me to be flex when we only have 1 car!!
