can anyone let me know how much they claim for meals, snacks etc..

is there a definitive amount defined by tax man/woman ??? thanks all

I assume you are a childminder.

There is no set amount which is allowed by HMRC; you can claim a reasonable estimate of what you actually spend on food and drink for the mindees. One way to do this is to work out exactly what a few sample lunches, snacks, teas etc, cost and use your minding register to work out how many of each meal you have provided each week.
