Easter Help!

Hi,

Im new to this, so im unsure if I am posting in the right place!!

My daughter is 4 and in reception. I have to work this year over the Easter holidays and am wondering about childcare.

I have received a few flyers and seen adverts in the local paper for "Easter Camps" which all seem to be cheaper if you book now!

Problem is, I don't know what dates I actually have to work yet.

When does everyone else usually book this sought of thing? I don't want to leave it too late when there are no places left!

Thanks

Make sure the easter camps except children who are still in the eyfs age group. Your daughter may be at school but not all camps except them until they are older. You may be better looking at local nurseries offering easter care or a childminder/holiday nanny but I would book asap.

My son who's 4 and in reception went to the local after-school club for a play scheme for the first time this half term and really enjoyed it. We only booked a week before and because he was under 6 he had his own key worker who looked after 2-3 of the littler ones. It was also incredibly cheap £13.80/day for 8-6 care!
The day he went he did sports, crafts, the went to the adventure play gound in the afternoon.
Its worth contacting the council to see if there's anything similar near you (we're NW london).

Wow sounds great. Il definitely look around. Do most people book a week or 2 before then?

No, I think most people book a bit earlier. If there is something call and ask. unfortunately with all the cuts I don't think its going to be around past the end of the year.
