Hmm

I'm 22!

I was turned down for a TON of jobs at 20 because of my age (Despite having 4y experience then!) but I didn't think 22 was that young tbh!

Or do you think they're just making an excuse because I'm not what they want?!

MNSP - you come across on here as a lot older than 22 (if I think back to what I was like at your age Blush) so I think there probably is some other reason. Are you pretty? I have heard people say that they won't employ a pretty nanny because they don't trust their husbands

I also think the age thing might be a convenient excuse...People don't employ (or do employ) nannies for all kinds of spurious reasons. At 22 you're older than about a quarter of the nannies looking for work and most I knew in London were in the 21- 30 age bracket so you're just the bottom end of normal with a fairly normal amount of experience.
