CM Variations for 5 in EY???

Has anyone been granted a variation which allows 5 in the EY group for a short period of time?

I have a potential hour or two overlap problem coming up in September and wondered if anyone had any experience?

It is a sibling and I realise I cannot exceed 6 under 8 (and I dont care for any over 8's)

TIA

I was always led to believe ABSOLUTELY NOT and so were many others. BUT.....someone on here mentioned someone HAD been granted this so it obviously can happen but I think it would be pretty hard. Good luck and if you do get it, please let us know :)

It was me who mentioned it before, and was for someone I know personally.

I often have a problem in September with 4 year olds starting (proper) school for half days only for a few weeks, and their nursery places no longer being available. It is a logistical nightmare sometimes to organise everything.
