babysitting?

Hi, can anyone recommend a good babysitting service who will service NW6? I'm looking for one-off occasional sitters for evenings (so Dad and I can get out on our own!)

Not in the area but I would suggest you find a local nanny and see if they would do it. That way you and your children get to know someone local, rather than having a different sitter each time.
Try signing up with Childcare.co.uk (click the advert which is usually on this section of Mumsnet) and posting your details. It's free to post an ad, costs to send a message but free to reply to a message sent to you.

There is also a list of nannies on here somewhere, can't do links as I'm in mobile mode. Never know a nanny who posts on mumsnet may be in your area.

I'm in NW6 and either use my own nanny or sitters are usually reliable, good (experienced childcarers) and fairly cheap. I think its www.sitters.co.uk.

HI, new to this, looking for a babysitter, based in SL2 (stoke Poges) have a 17 month and a 29 month old and wanting someone to do the odd evening babysitting so my partner andu I can have a bit of QT. Let me know if you are interested.

Twigsy, it is fairly unlikely that you will find someone via Mumsnet. It does happen but I feel you would be better clicking the Childcare.co.uk ad - add yourself on there, making sure the Tag: Babysitter is marked.

Also try things like local NetMums Childcare board.
