Hi venom I mind 9yr old twins, i think as long as it doesn't affect the care of the younger ones its ok

Venom71 · 05/10/2005 12:03

Do I have to be registered to look after over 8's?

Are you a registered childminder?

Venom71 · 05/10/2005 13:27

Sorry - yes I am a registered childminder, but my certificate just says for under 8's!

You can have as many over 8's as you like as long as the other mindees don't suffer. I personally only have 1 over 8 as any more would be too much for my house and be unfair on the others.

Hiya!

Thanks! I have just looked on NCMA website and phoned my CIS (to be sure!) where I found this out!

Thanks for your help!
