Hiya all

Just thought I'd mention that loads of people now have copies of my policies, contract addendum etc and that there must be a dozen or so copies knocking about.

I don't have any problem sharing, however please remember I'm just a minder like you all are. They don't have any legal validity, they are not perfect (as I'm sure you've seen) and they aren't in any way official

I'm just generous with my opinions - whether they are right or not

So treat them with reasonable caution.......

Katymac, may I please see them? Ive started a thread (about to apply) and would love to get n idea of what sort of policies I need to think about (i think ive thought of most, but ive prob missed some.) esp want to know what kinda policy you have about dicipline - one CM I know took on a mindee recently and the parent told them it was ok to smack the child on the back of the legs, or bum! Id be so horrified I dont think I would know what to say to that!

ThePrisoner · 08/10/2005 17:01

Childminders are not allowed to smack EVER!

ThePrisoner · 08/10/2005 17:02

(Sorry, that's what I would say to the mum!)

katymac · 08/10/2005 19:43

katymac, could I have a look too?

katymac · 08/10/2005 20:31

No probs - just CAT

But please remember they are not a standard...I made them up and I am a fallible as most (and more so than some)

Thay are just my opinion - others will have better ones

I just need an idea really of where to start! Do you use NCMA contracts etc or write out your own?

katymac · 08/10/2005 20:50

ncma plus an addendum for the bits it doesn't cover
