And if you do how much do you get paid per hour?

And does it vary how many children you look after, eg. how much would you charge per hour for 4 kids?

Thanks girls, need this info ASAP!!

JellyJelly does this for a babysitting agency and I think she gets £5 per hour? Will try emailing her to find out if more for more children!

i do babysitting and get £5ph on fridays and during the week and 575 per hour on saturdays/sundays can look after a max of 5 children and the rate doesnt change.

My old childminder (have a nanny now) used to babysit for us -- in fact still does on occassion. She chsrges £6/hour. I don't think the rate changes for more kids but I'm not sure as we only had one child when she babysat regularly.

I thought this was a great service because I could go out on Friday night straight from work without having to pick up DD and bring her home to a different babysitter. I would just give the childminder the key and she would bring DD home and put her to bed.

I also childmind 2 evenings - I have a regular two weekday evenings at £8ph in my home; but when babysitting current mindee in mindees home I only charge 5ph. What I charge does not depend on whos home it is in either. Generally speaking though, between £5 - £8ph.
