TODDLE WADDLE

I got a leaflet from a shop the other day about a toddle waddle to raise awareness about meningitis, it's a sponsered event for children to go for a walk but you can turn it into a sort of fun day. It sounds really good, has anyone done anything like this before? It's taking part between 2 - 15 October
Heres the websitetoddlewaddle
Anyone in Manchester taking part?

Our local childminding group have been supporting the Toddle Waddle for about 3 or 4 years now (we also support their National Coffee Morning). As part of ou normal drop-in session, we all go around to the local park and do a very short circuit, all sponsored by the childrens, parents, friends etc. We have orange webbed feet held on top of our shoes with elastic bands, and the children colour in and make the hats provided in the pack. We then return to the hall for coffee, squash, delicious home-made cakes and duck shaped biscuits, which we pay for in aid of the charity. We usually raise about £200. We also give out meningitis awareness cards to the parents.
