Does anyone know anything about the process of becoming a childminder for just over-7s.

As far as I know if you are childminding only over 8s you don't need to register. The childcare register is for children aged 5-8, so you would need to register on this if minding 7 yr olds. Is this right anyone?

over 7's means 8 year olds and you need to go on the voluntary register and have insurance if you plan on having them for over 2 hours or if anyone wants to pay you with childcare vouchers.
This is the link to the register you need to scroll down
