Chiswick Childminder?

I would be so grateful if anyone can help ...

I am moving to Chiswick with my husband and 20 month old daughter in about 6 weeks and hope to find a fabulous childminder in the area. We are currently in North London but moving to W4 to look after my elderly father in law who has been recently widowed.

I work 2 days a week, at totally flexible times, and have been blessed with an exceptional childminder in North London ... I am hoping to find an exceptional childminder in Chiswick to replace them!

Can you help? Any availability during the week is fine for me. I'm looking for up to 15 hours but less will be ok too. Or if you know of anyone you could recommend I would really appreciate it.

I work nearby in W5, I don't know any childminders in Chiswick, but I know a few nannies so I'll ask around for you if you like? One of the nannies who works in Chiswick, may be able to make a recommendation. It's a fab area for little ones there is so much to do, hope you'll enjoy living here!

Pleased to hear there's a lot to do. I've been told to grab the local magazine, Angel & Urchins, when I move in so hopefully I'll get some activities planned pretty quickly!

Pleasantly - i have a friend Diane who has been a childminder for many years. her full time child has just moved on so she has spaces.

she lives in the Gunnersbury part of chiswick. let me know if you'd like her details.

she is around 40 and a very social childminder. visits the local toy library and toddler groups every day.

she really is a lovely lady who childminds not just for the money but because she really enjoys it. she has four children with her youngest now 12.
