So, follwong on from my thread, I have made the following plan

DH is staying out for lunch, he says he comes home for a break from his stressful job, but all he hears is screaming child and his brother who talks incessantly

I shall not eat or drink anything all day, I shall sit on living room floor with this child, and stop him from climbing on sofa, touching dvd player get him to play with toys. This will mean ignoring totally his older brother.
of course there will be some scremaing and sickness as I will ahve to put him down to
A) change his nappy
B) put his brother on potty
C) make their lunch
D) make their tea
E) possibly have to stop rocking buggy to cross road, or scratch my nose Grin

let's see how we get on

and when the mother asks if we did painting or colouring I shall say "no, I've spent the day sitting on the floor with your creaming child"

(have read your threads on this before) how do his parents deal with his non sleeping/overtiredness at home? god it sounds dire.

Saltire · 13/09/2010 11:26

From what I cna gather they put him in his buggy and his older brother on the sofa in teh dining room, which also ahs a tv in it, they put them both in there and leave them to watch a dvd. Then when both asleep they get taken to bed. Apparently he will sleep all night, but wakens at 5ish with a pooy nappy,a nd that's him awake, so sometimes he is awake from 5am till 7pm without a sleep.

What happens if you go out so brother gets to play toys at toddlers etc and youngest one sleeps in pushchair, car seat etc
how old are they?

I would have to get out, you'll go nuts staying in, have you got a children centre or a toddler group close by, do you drive?
