How early do I need to start looking for a CM?

I will be returning to work next June and will need to put the DCs in the care of a CM for two days a week. DS will be 3.3 and DD will be 0.11

I was wondering when I need to start looking for a CM. I thought that maybe January was about right, particularly as I need to find someone with two spaces. Is the hysterically early? Or hysterically late?

I'm well aware that a deposit and/or retainer will be required - that fine - just anxious to secure good childcare for my children.

We're based in London - we'd be looking for childcare probably in the Islington area.

It's never to soon. The Mum of one of existing mindees wanted to secure a place for her new child when she was only 12 weeks pregnant!!
