Just need some advice.

One of the mums I deal with is off work looking after her baby. She still needs me to care for her two other children after school for a couple of hours or so.

One of her sons attends after school club which she pick up him from.

What would you charge if you have to do the pick up after a club at school? Would you charge full price. It could be that the club is cancelled for whatever reason. Or should I charge half fee and full fee if it is cancelled. If I have to pick up from the club do I charge from when I leave my home, as I would not have needed to go out if I was not going to pick up.

Sorry a bit wordy, but appreciate some views on this. I have never really had to pick up kids from clubs, which run at the school.

Sorry forgot to say that the mum will be returning to work later on in the year.

I may have to do the club pick up. I may have to say I cannot do this as I have parents who pick up from my home during this time.

I personally charge a min of 2 hours but probably couldn't pick up from a proper club activity due to needing to do dinner etc. Depends on what time they need picking up and how long you'd need to care for them?

I have it in my fees that I charge from normal school pick up time regardless of any after school clubs, as you say they can be cancelled with short notice and I would need to be available.

Thank you for that.
