Babysitter for wedding

I'm getting married in October and my DD will be just over one year old. Was starting to have a think about who will be looking after her in the evening at the hotel.

Think probably the best plan is to try and find a babysitter. Anyone used those babysitting services on the net - like Sitters? Or anyone know anyone who had a young baby at a wedding and who looked after them (I had been thinking of bringing our pushchair and getting her to sleep in one of the quieter rooms but think the band we've hired will be too loud for her to sleep through!!)

You will be amazed at what they sleep through at weddings or either that they keep going charming the pants off of the guests all evening.
I took dd to a wedding aged 9 months and she would sleep through anything but didn't, she spent the evening being danced about by everyone.
I'll be honest you will probably find so many family and friends will happily run about after her and that she will probably be happy either in her buggy or dancing with everyone that it might be a waste of money using a paid sitter.

I also remember one friends wedding where her 2 small dd's fell asleep in their buggy in the hotel and the guests took it in 20 minute shifts to take a breather from the wedding dance and sit with the girls in a quieter room and cool down and have drink.
