just thought this would be fun!!!!

My DD was 5 weeks premature and weighed 4lb 11oz and she was so tiny. She had to be fed through a tube for the first week and had to go into an incubator for a day.

She's now the tallest in her class!!!!

My friend 'nobubbles' last baby was 12lb 2oz and I delivered him!

Is he the largest so far?

Dp was a triplet born at 28 weeks, and weighed 1 lb 6 oz, and that was 24 years ago. I suppose that doesn't count though

Ds was a healthy 7lb 14oz, which according to charts was slap bang in the middle. Bless

My DD was 10 pounds for 57 cm, she was 9 days overdue ! She looked like a big chicken overcooked !!! Ha ha ha, now she's gorgeous !

My twins weighed 6lb 8oz & 7lb 3oz when they were born at just over 37 weeks!

DS weighed 2lb 15oz
DD weighed 10lb 5ozs

11lb 2 for ds (2nd)
9lb 3 for dd (1st)

This might be cheating slightly, but when I worked as a MW in Saudi, I looked after a women who gave birth to a 14lb baby. Filled the cot, it did!

so my ds at 10lb 2 was a tiny one!!

my midwife told me she had once deliverd a 14 1/2 lb baby in the Australian outback - she said the mother had, and I quote, a pelvis like a bucket

hi korey was 9lbs 1oz when he was born, i'm only 4`11" so after failed induction had an emergency c-section. korey's now 21lbs 7oz at 26 weeks. stupid health visitor told me to put him on a diet, i ignored her advice and asked another health visitor and she told me not to cos he didnt need to!!

am amazed at the sizes of some of these babies! not only at birth, but now, my DD was 7lb 15oz at birth, shes 18mos now and 24lb, she had a skirt on the other day age 6-9mos!! she does wear age 12-18mos now but still too big! what are you feeding them?:0

DS3 who is 26 months still wears 18 months clothes if that's any consolation? He was 7lb 4oz born, the biggest of my three: Stirling was 6lb 11.5 oz, and Sam at full term was 5lb 5oz

My dp cousin had her dd at 25 weeks (15wks early)
She weighed 1lb and her skin was still see through so she had to be put in a bag (to act like the womb so she could continue developing)
Well that was 5 years ago, and considering the docs said she had a slim chance of survival, she is a sweet and clever little girl now

ds1 was 4lb 10 oz born at 37 weeks

twins were 2lb 13oz and 2lb 14.5 oz born at 29 weeks

twins will be 2 in Jnauary. twin2 is only 20lb to date and still wears 6-9 months clothes

Charlie was 2lb 2 when he was born 11 weeks early. He's now about 15lb at 6 months so doing very well, though still in 0-3 month sized clothes. He was teeny-tiny, in an incubator for a few weeks, fed by tube for 7-8 weeks and in hospital for 10 weeks altogether.

my two seem quite normal then on this thread.

ds1 10lb 4oz (three weeks late)
ds2 10lb 6oz (two weeks early)

Both my daughters were big babies
DD1 weighed 8lb 13oz. at 18 months nearly 30lbs
DD2 Weighed 8lb 8oz(3 weeks early) she is 19 weeks old and is 18lb 4oz!. she's already in 6-9 months clothes!!

DD1-7lb 5oz (2 weeks late)
DD2-7lb 7oz (1 day late)
