My lovely sister is having contractions!! my parents are there and so is her DH. We are all rooting for her. Pains started about lunchtime and are getting stronger, closer and more regular, she had a show yesterday and a sweep this morning.

just spoke to her on the phone and she had to stop to have a contraction

soooooooooooooooo excited, but i can't be with her ( 200 miles away! ) but my mum will be brilliant ,as will her DH

please send all your good labour and birthing vibes to ruby

Yeah, babe definately be here today then. Still banking on 8:30 me. I've known women to faff around getting to 4 and then sprint to the end within minutes. Sure you know all that.

Is she comfortable?

I was 1cm at 6am.

Baby born at 10.15am.

I can't imagine having a labour that lasts more than 3 hours now.

I swear I just wouldn't cope! Intense pain is bad enough when it doesn't last very long...how people go on for what, 30 hours or whatever, just floors me.

Were yours quite quick, Lulu?
