Sorry to dissappoint but still here with no baby !
Decided to go to bed and get some rest and after an uncomfortable hour or so next thing I knew it was 8.30am.
Absolutely zilcho now

oh dear.

Well just think of it, as things moving in the right direction.

Hopefully, when the time is right, it'll kick off quickly and you'll be more than ready to go.

Good luck.

don;t be sad ! your body is obviously gearing up for the Real Thing. try to rest and conserve energy . sip raspberry leaf tea and remember that all these practice ctx are helping ..

great that you had a good sleep

LackaDAISYcal · 06/08/2008 08:55

it'll happen very soon; don't worry

it's all to the good these practice contractions and it sounds like you'll have your baby very soon. Keep us posted; we all love a good labour thread

good luck

Just read this thread, and I got all excited! This will be me in 9 weeks or so!

SO it's not the Real Thing yet Foghorn, but it sounds like everything is going in the right direction. Hope it won't be too long!

lulumama · 06/08/2008 08:57

@ me and belgo doing the Real Thing with capitals !!

FoghornLeghorn · 06/08/2008 09:46

I know it's hopefully a step in the right direction but I was gutted when I woke up this morning !

At least you managed to sleep. I remember taking dd1 to her grandparents' house at 2am whne I was 40 weeks pregnant, convinced it was happening, when it wasn't. It happened two days later though.

oh well, take it easy and see what happens. make sure you have some nice things planned

minouminou · 11/08/2008 23:39

hi, foghorn, hope things are moving!
just out of interest, under what circumstances would a team offer sweeps from 38 weeks plus?
