Positive big baby stories - vaginal

My baby is 90th percentile plus and I’m overdue. I’m going to have any induction soon, although I’m not overly optimistic as my cervix remains closed. Constant comments are being made about me having a big baby but equally I don’t think a c section is a small thing and so I will attempt vaginally before resorting to that. Please could I have some positive stories about big baby vaginal (ideally first baby) as being anxious isn’t going to help me.

Not first baby but a 13 year gap so might as well have been. My son was 9.5 lbs and I was an older mum at 42. I had a fantastic midwife who saw me through labour and really encouraged movement and being upright. It was MILES easier than my first birth (that was horrific, hence gap) and I think the weight of him made it easier to get him out. I didn’t use anything other than gas and air and had a minor graze. It was a truly positive experience.

My sister's two were both well over 9lbs and born vaginally. The first had to be coaxed out with an induction (pessary only) at 42 weeks, while the second made an extremely speedy entry the morning she was due to be induced (again, for post dates). No tearing either time as well.

My friend had a 10lb whopper as her first baby. She went into labour naturally (day of induction funnily enough), but opted for an epidural as she knew from the 36 week scan baby was massive.

My biggest was 9’11 and he was easier than my DD at 8’13 because her head was bigger. I had to have an epidural with her but not with him.
