Hi All

First pregnancy, weighing up the pros and cons of RHS and ESH. I am 40mins away from RHS and 10mins away from ESH, but i have read there are generally more positive reviews and people have better experiences of childbirth at RHS. Can anyone weigh in to help me make the decision?

Have had two planned sections at royal Surrey - both incredible tbh if you ended up with a planned section then the distance wouldn’t matter but otherwise it would be a factor. Haven’t heard a bad experience for royal Surrey from my circle but don’t know anyone who has been to east Surrey to compare!

Well distance still matters if you labour before your given date, we do tons of emergency sections for that reason, isn't uncommon at all

Fair enough - I stand corrected! 🤣
