Mums who had vaginal/natural births, how are your subsequent natural/vaginal births like?

Just wondering the above.

From you experience, were your second/later vaginal births much easier than the first? Were these subsequent births more intense/painful?

They were both pretty similar, unmedicated home births, no complications. Both were quick but second was quicker. Placenta took longer to come second time, it was an hour the first time and 90 minutes the second. Both were intense due to the speed (first: 5 hours labour 20 mins pushing, second: 3 hours labour 9 minutes pushing) but otherwise fine.

2nd was much easier. First was a bit early (nearly 37 weeks) waters broke, needed oxytocin drip after 24 hours and supposedly not active labour (allthough before the drip it was bloody painful and noone checked how dilated I was so that's up for debate). I had an epidural when it became too much, after the drip. Drip was late after, birth was 3am.

2nd was more intense, was only 4-5 hours in total. It was but painfulI. I was in a bit of denial as I'd had evening cramps for a week or so before. He was term (just over 40 week). But when I decided these were labour cramps it was full on and intense. I used gas and air but no epidural.

Mine got very fast. First was 5 hours. Second was 1.5 hours third was 30 mins delivered at home just me and husband because midwives didn't believe it was the real deal 😬

First birth, 12 hours with long second stage ending in failed ventouse and forceps. Second, much easier at 3 hours. Episiotomies with both. I was told my body had ‘paved the way’ for my second delivery.
