Amenity rooms royal sussex hospital

Can anyone who has given birth in the RSCH recently tell me if they have any amenity rooms you can pay for in the post natal ward. Scheduled for a csection in 9 weeks and the idea of being on a ward with multiple other people and their babies afterwards is stressing me out. Cant find anything concrete on their website about it either.

Yes they do but it's first come first serve. I think they assess who is most in need and allocate it that way.

I got a private room after my c section and didn't have to pay extra, but i asked and made it clear I was willing to pay.

I think all you can do is ask.

There are some private rooms but you can't pay for one. I was in a particularly bad way after my c section this week at RSCH and I asked for a private room, but had to wait for one to become available and then a midwife had to advocate for me to get it over anyone else. You have to be worse off than everyone else there basically.
