am I in early labour or am I a fraud.... hand hold needed

Woke up this morning at 545 with regular mildly painful contractions.

They've been coming and going all day.

Have lost bloody mucus today.

Currently the contractions have died off and I'm feeling like a bit of a fraud.

Could this be it?

I'm 40 weeks exactly.

It could be! I was in slow labour for a week with my daughter and it started like this, I had what I assume was my “show”, woke up with painful contractions which were really close together for 2 hours so we rang hospital and went in. Within 2 hours of being in hospital they had died down and were more like 1 an hour so we were sent home and told I was in slow labour. Mine continued like that for a week before I was induced to get her out (for other reasons). Fingers crossed for you!

You’re not a fraud. It does sound like things are getting started. Take try is time to relax and get some rest. You’ll need your energy. Being relaxed will also help move things along. Best of luck x

I had this the day before Labour with dd2 lots of mucus plug coming out and just been crampy rather than take your breath away contractions. I assume it won't be long now op good luck
