Losing bits of mucus plug everyday for a month?!

The first time was at just under 36 weeks. A long clear jelly worm about 2 inches long.

I am now 40 weeks and have continued to lose pieces every single day. It's now gone from clear to a thicker, yellow colour but it's driving me mad- I keep thinking it's a sign of labour and then nothing.

I've googled and can't find anything that describes this experience I've had...it all says you lose it then go into labour within a few hours days or at most a week or so..

Does anyone else have experience of this?!

Yeah I lost a load at about 37 weeks, and then more on and off. It only really signifies labour is imminent when it also contains a bloody show. If it's just clear or yellowy snotty mucus then it doesn't tell you anything unfortunately.

I had a bloody show at 34+4 and am now 36 weeks and nothing. I've been losing my plug since then basically, sometimes more, sometimes less and varying in whether it's bloody or not.
