Ok so I only need words of encouragement at this stage 🙈…. For anyone who has been in a similar situation…. I have had 3 normal deliveries 39w, 38w, 38w. This 4th pregnancy has been horrendous from day one. The sickness and nausea have been shocking and have ramped up again in the past few weeks. Currently 38+2 and have been experiencing on and off cramping, back pain and all the other niggles for the past 5 days…. But no labour yet 😭😭😭! Surely I’m bound to go any day? First 2 pregnancies my waters went with no prior warning, 3rd didn’t break until near delivery.. has anyone else been in this situation…I don’t even know what I’m looking for… moral support from someone who has been or is in the same situation 😂! X

I had my 4th baby last Wednesday. Had to have an induction though due to baby’s size and gestational diabetes. Has yours made an appearance yet OP? I can see this thread is a few days old so things may have progressed for you now hopefully 🤞🏻

congratualtions @NeonMythic 🥰, hope you’re recovering well! No im still miserable, only worse. Went to community midwife appt and they gave me a sweep yest so all day I was having contractions 3-6 mins apart. When checked by midwife last night I was 3cm but hadn’t progressed at all since earlier in the day! Overnight contractions have died down to very irregular again, totally and utterly exhausted, no idea what the flip my body thinks it’s doing this time 😭😭😭😭 xx

I had my 4th baby last month. He was 17 days overdue lol.

@Ck1990 thank you! If your birth is anything like mine was it’ll take ages to get going but once it does baby will be here in no time! Try and get as much rest as you can (easier said than done I know) I had my baby at 11:40am after having no sleep the previous night as my waters popped at midnight on the induction ward. I was so exhausted 😩 wishing you luck!

🙈 @anywherehollie im assuming your other 3 weren’t early though? Mw was saying yest it would be v strange if I went overdue after 3 early deliveries so I’m hoping she’s right. Have been having a lot of show since yest so hoping it’s finally on its way slowly 😂🙈

@NeonMythic thank you… that’s my only hope at this stage that it’s quick when it gets going 🙈, been such an awful week with v little sleep….

That's sounds exactly like my slow labour.. niggles, pains, dilation and then a 40 minute labour from waters to delivery.

If I was you I'd be prepared for a quick one!

Get vacuuming op... Bet your labour gets going soon after..
