oh tiempe, she is gorgeous , and so is DS1

i love the pic of yuo feeding, in that radiant, after birth glow.

RustyBear · 18/04/2008 18:43

Come on Scorpio!

Just been catching up, having spent the afternoon setting up my new laptop - including about an hour on the phone to Orange trying to get it to connect to the broadband.....

TheMaskedPoster · 18/04/2008 18:45

Why thank you - I do so happen to agree with you there Squonk . DD1 is currently swimmin' in the bath tub and DD2 (love saying that now!) is reclinin' on the baby lounger seat thingy ... bliss.

So - what time did Scorpio go into labour then??

your alcohol as pain relief thread stuck in my mind for a long time. in a good way. you are a fascinating woman !

SquonkTheBeerGuru · 18/04/2008 18:47

got text from her at 16:23

so that's like... over two hours ago.

That's plenty of time.

The last time I got a text message like that, I had another one an hour later announcing the safe arrival of two babies!!!!

Lulumama - that picture of me just having given birth is completely opposite to one taken after DD1's birth - I looked like I had been run over by a truck in that one! Amazing the differences between a first and second birth [amazed emoticon]

ImightbeLulumama · 18/04/2008 18:48

my two birth pics were like that

em c.s with DS all the pics are somoene else holding DS, me in the background white as a sheet

with DD, i am up and about with mascara on holding my baby

helloo rusty!

dizzydixies · 18/04/2008 18:49

what did I miss, girls have been force fed and I now have indigestion

SquonkTheBeerGuru · 18/04/2008 18:50

TheMaskedPoster · 18/04/2008 18:51

btw lulumama - your lulu is looking mighty grown up in your photos - so, so sweet - you must be a proud mum (and DS too of course)xxx

Right - off to do 'stuff' - will log in again later to hear the news

dizzydixies · 18/04/2008 18:52

ah pap

kayzisexpecting · 18/04/2008 18:56

DH is going to go to the pub later. I've told him he might as well wet the babies head!

ImightbeLulumama · 18/04/2008 18:58

starlight when are you due

Egg · 18/04/2008 19:04

TMP! Congrats did not see you had a new DD . So pleased for you.

Come on now Scorps, is she out yet?????? I am supposed to be doing something like getting my own DCs to bed.

ImightbeLulumama · 18/04/2008 19:04

please do !

the ina may books talk about using vodka as a way to slow or stop prem labour, but i don;t think it would be advocated now !!

the pukey factor alone would put me off

only from ina may, in teh 70s,where it was all about the lurve and no drugs (except for the illegal ones! ) for birth.

i am sure if you research it, you could find something, but it will cross the placenta, same as pethidine etc

kayzisexpecting · 18/04/2008 19:09

My dinner is ready, what am I going to do?

I will have to leave the laptop open and somehow keep refreshing.
