Then third came early ?

My 1st was 3 days over
My 2nd was 12 days over...
Currently 3 days off my due date with my 3rd so I'm wondering the same at the moment too 😂

Oo following.

My first was 6 days over, my second was induced at 39+5 (or maybe +6, I can't remember) so I don't think he'd have been early either.

I'm currently pregnant with my third and really hoping that she's also late as the Dr who delivered all my others is on holiday until my due date (I'm not in the UK and here we choose a specific Dr for delivery). Plus my parents aren't arriving to look after existing DC until 39+2.

First born 38+2, but that was after a week long induction.
Second born 40+3-lovely and quick once it happened though.
Third born 41 weeks after being in stop/start labour for 2 weeks! Mine don't like to come out!

First was 8 days late
Second was 6 days late
Third I thought would be 4 late, but he was 8 😫.

That said, each labour was quicker and easier.

1st - induction 9 days over 6 hours labour
2nd - spontaneous 3 hour labour 9 days over
3rd - induction @ 38 weeks (GD) 1.5 hour labour
All girls 😊

First - 10 days over (placenta failed)
Second - induced at +7
Third - induced at +8

First - 6 days late
Second - 8 days late
Third - 9 days late

I've had 2 emc so booked for an elective reluctantly , hoping he might come early but thinking it's very unlikely
1st 40+5
2nd 40+6

first was 16 days late, second was 12 days late. Midwife was on holiday over my due date for third and gave me strict instructions not to give birth until she came back but he came the day after his due date. Didn’t really expect him for another week and when I went into labour I initially thought the pains were cramps because I needed a poo!

All 4 of mine were overdue to the extent of being induced.

Waited until 17 days over with #2 still not even a niggle 🙄

Electives are reckoned to be much faster to recover from etc
