TMI pics - D&C 3 weeks postpartum - retained products and blood clots

Posted on here last week about passing clots 2 weeks post partum

im now almost 3 weeks and although bleeding has pretty much stopped (brown spotting/when I wipe) I’ve still been passing a clot every few days, followed by some red blood, which then stops straight after until a few days down the line when another clot will pass

had an ultrasound last week and report said they didn’t think there was retained placenta but there were blood clots in womb.

ended up passing a big tissue-y clot yesterday and gp said best to go to a&e. From there I was sent to gynae for bloods, an internal examination and a swab. No signs of infection and I have been told to come back for another ultrasound and follow up with gynae same day. I’m waiting for this.

Dr said I may need a D&C to clear out what’s there. Was wondering if anyone had any similar experience. I had a big blood loss immediately after birth and am so terrified of passing something else and having a big bleed.

I feel so down I just want to enjoy my baby and look after my other children without worrying about over doing it and passing more, even though I know whatever is in there needs to come out.

some pics attached. Pretty sure these aren’t clots but if they were placenta would I not be heavily bleeding and be feeling poorly by now?

That doesn't look normal to me, I never had anything that large after three weeks! Get some advice I would say
