Saw my midwife this morning, I’m 40 weeks today with my first baby. She said my baby girl is quite large and not fully engaged.
My Midwife also said I would definitely need a c section because it was really unlikely that the baby would engage now. I asked if there was anything I could do to encourage it and she said no.
She also said it’s a bad sign that I’m not having false Labour at this point, I dont even get braxton hicks so she thinks that means my body is no where near ready to give birth.
I’ve been using the birthing ball for hours a day and walking every day.
I’ve also used spinning babies.
Can I have any positive stories from first babies who engaged late, to give me some hope or any tips to get her to engage?
