lulumama · 14/04/2008 16:59

okay
how post dates are you now?

VictorianSqualor · 14/04/2008 17:00

Thankyou slur

I might go off and write my birth announcement now, just leave a space for time date sex and name and DP can copy and paste it when he gets home

VictorianSqualor · 14/04/2008 17:00

41weeks tomorrow.

S1ur · 14/04/2008 17:00

Woohoo for fab shoes. Have you got a pic (baaaad memory do you mean the wedges?) I'm going shopping later for shoes to go with long pretty dusky pink dress. (online) What time's good for you?

lulumama · 14/04/2008 17:09

cannot find a link, they were from russell and bromley

lulumama · 14/04/2008 17:10

about 8 pm will suit !

VS, do you want to go a bit longer, or you ok with this being the way it is?

DonDons · 14/04/2008 17:17

yep Slur - we are both all in the best city in the world

VictorianSqualor · 14/04/2008 17:31

Erm, well I'd prefer not to have the CS but I've had enough now, I just get the feeling that even if I wait the next week nothing will happen and I'll still end up having a CS anyway, at least if have it tomorrow I've got DP and MiL off work to help me out.
I've pushed the cons an extra 3 weeks over their ideal date so I think I've done pretty well!
As I said earlier, there is always next time

MerlinsBeard · 14/04/2008 17:53

Just dropping in quickly to say, loads of good luck for tom vs. will be thinking of you x

PuhPeng · 14/04/2008 19:10

Yes, best of luck for tomorrow VS! Will be sending groovy calm happy vibes (because they're so useful). Can't wait to hear some good news from you!

When I joined this thread my due date was 11 days away. Ages! Now it's the day after tomorrow. Not a twitch or a twinge though, so will be here for the long haul I think.

scorpio1 · 14/04/2008 19:21

Have already wished VS lots and lots of luck

I have a shiatsu appt for 9.30 tomorrow hoping this may move her along.

BetsyBoop · 14/04/2008 19:41

Hope things go well tomorrow VS

I've a pretty good idea how you were feeling as I was in your shoes 5 months ago.

DS was born by c/s at 40+10 & like you I'd got to the "had enough" stage. I will always be sad I didn't get my VBAC (DS is definitely my last!) but I feel a whole lot better about it than I thought I would, knowing I'd given it my best shot. I hope it's the same for you & you get a wonderful c/s experience tomorrow.

I'll be thinking of you

PS
Psst VS's bub - Hurry up, you've still got time, get your finger out

lulumama · 14/04/2008 19:50

hey betsey !

right, i have new shoes, new top, new jeans, so i am ready for new babies !

VS, my lovely, if you are ready for baby, then meet your baby, with an open heart and open arms. mode of delivery is important, but you have pushed to go as far as you can, and you have maintained patience and dignity all the way. i shall say a little prayer for you and baby , (and ask for your labour to begin spontaneously!!! ) and look forward to hearing your birth story.

CeylonSapphire · 14/04/2008 20:03

i haven't had a chance to read the thread, but wanted to thank you all for your help and encouragement. I gave birth to a daughter, 7lbs12, on Friday, at 7.50am, 24hrs after my waters had broken. will eventually put full story on latest april08 ante-natal thread. good luck to those still waiting.

lulumama · 14/04/2008 20:04

congratulations sapphire, welcome to your baby girl x

VictorianSqualor · 14/04/2008 20:20

Lulu you cow you made me get all teary!!
I'm a bit disappointed that it's coming by CS but oh well, it's coming, it's hopefully going to be well, and I can be satisfied I wasn't forced into anything this time round.
I'm happy with the care I received and am ok with this decision.
Thanks for everyone's support over the last 9 months!
(should really post that on the VBAC thread as well but you're all here anyway )

EllieG · 14/04/2008 20:49

Cant you have 'marathon sex' tonight VS.
