Similar Slow Labour Experiences? Plus lost Mucus Plug 6 days ago

Hi Everyone,

Just looking for some similar slow labour experiences.

I’m 37 weeks plus 5 days. I’ve had extreme vomiting throughout my whole pregnancy, no anti sickness tablets have worked other than the anti sickness drip/injection in the hospital. I’ve just had to try and manage it myself and stay hydrated.

I vomit throughout the night and as any other pregnant lady I need to wee a lot too so I’ve had awful sleep.

Saturday night I had the most amazing sleep and slept right through. My nan said this was a sign Labour was coming.

Sunday I had cramps throughout the day

Monday the cramps continued, a period style pain. Then Monday night I had a bloody show/lost my mucus plug. This was huge, it was mucus mixed with dark red/brown blood.

Tuesday no pains

Wednesday I had 7 hours of contractions in the afternoon. Lasting 30-40 seconds every 5-10 minutes. This lasted until I fell asleep when I woke up they was gone.

Thursday morning I had another bloody show, Not as big as the last. I had dull pains through the day, the odd shooting pain.

Thursday Night/Early hours Friday - from 2am onwards I had contractions for 4 hours. They ended around 6am

Friday - after a night of contractions I had a bath and I had to get out of the bath to extremely vomit. I then had shooting pains through the day.
Friday night - I started violently vomitting. I tried to rest after the vomitting and then had diarrhea. After the diarrhea I lost even more of my mucus plug. I didn’t think this was possible as I’d already lost a huge amount.
This mucus plug was clear/white with only a hint of brown.

Any similar stories or advice?

Feeling fed up after a long sickly pregnancy. Hard to stay positive dealing with the vomitting on top of on and off contractions

I think if you’re being so sick, I would go in and get checked out.
