Posted in pregnancy but didn't get much so posting here. Getting growth scan tomorrow. I know bump measurements aren't that accurate. Although they weren't far off with my son. Anyone have any experience of this and what was the outcome

Tia 😊

I've never had consistent fundal height measurements, and had about 7 growth scans as a result 🤣

I'm 41 weeks pregnant so hopefully I'll know in the next week which ones were closer to being right 😅

How far along were you when you got these measures?

Autumn1990 · 04/12/2023 18:46

If you’re nearly full term the bump can get smaller as tue baby gets into position.
I had a smaller bump measurement one week and then ds was born a few weeks later at 8lb 12 Growth rate scans were also wrong

My DD had a growth scan last week as the MW thought that the baby's growth has slowed. In fact everything was absolutely fine, and I'll bet yours will be too, @wineoclock90 . Manual measurements are not very accurate!

She's in position has been for weeks. I know it'll be fine. It was opposite with my son he was measuring big

Aww that's good. I know it'll be fine! No they're not. I was measuring big with my son. Tbf they weren't too far off.

I'm pretty sure it's normal for it to slow down at the end but according to the midwife it doesn't
