Interested to know, did you have any signs days before labour? or did it just happen so suddenly? we’re you nauseous? diarrhoea or frequent bowel movements? tired? full of energy? sad, angry, happy? nesting? cramping? let me know!

Absolutely no warning whatsoever, and my labour was only 4 hours!

Same as PP. My labour was 4 hours too! In the night I was woken by mild cramping, but I didn't put that down to being the start. I guess now I know it was. That was 12 hours before baby was out.

Should say, the cramping disappeared, I went about my morning as usual. When suddenly my waters broke, very dramatically, in public! Was not just a trickle for me🤣

DC1 - no general signs. Lost the bloody show and contractions started about 30 mins later (24hr labour that one)

DC2 - did the shopping night before due date and felt very 'heavy' more so than normal. Rubbish sleep that night but wasn't sure why (turns out it was mild contractions) and had her the same day (6hr active labour)

None apart from losing my plug a few days prior with our first.
I’d been to a work event of DH’s until late the night before at 41 weeks, woke up with cramps the early hours of the morning.

Second none at all and had to get waters broken in hospital!
