Hi!

I have just found out I am pregnant and am considering hospital choices. I am equidistant from three: Chelsea Westminster, st Mary's Paddington and Queen Charlotte. Can not afford to go private so would be the NHS sections of each. Which would you choose and what are the pros and cons? All help much appreciated! Thanks.

I had a baby at St Mary’s and all went well and was straightforward but it was extremely busy and I was induced then left on a ward I couldn’t find a safe space to Labour on as I had a small cubicle with a curtain but was in too much pain to keep still in it. So our baby was nearly born in the toilet and as soon as I was eventually given a room and doctor he arrived within minutes- I was so relieved to have a safe space away from everyone else’s partners etc etc !
i hope that was unusual and it helped it was my 2nd as I was able to keep myself calm .

I'm currently with C&W and happy with my care so far. Had two previous babies at QC and found the waiting times for the antenatal clinic quite stressful, plus it felt quite understaffed. But this was ten years ago or so. Good luck with everything!
