Hey everyone! Been at hospital since 11am and am still waiting to be induced 😠it's now 9.25pm.
Was due to be induced today (37+1 weeks, due to small baby) but all last night I felt like I was leaking fluid, every time I got up for a wee I was all wet down there, and when I wiped it was pinkish and muscusy.
So called the ward like I needed to anyways so they could let me know when to come in, and I told them I think my waters were leaking so they sent me to the maternity assessment centre first.
Got checked up there, monitored and had speculum exam and they said it wasn't my waters.. Interesting.
Anyways eventually got sent over to ward for induction at 3pm..been waiting ever since.
They said they had to pause starting inductions for a while as labour ward is full capacity which is completely understandable, but it's just always the way isn't it.
I was on monitor for about 3 hours, they wanted to keep an extra eye because baby's heart rate was dropping ever so slightly (they said this can be normal but need to keep an eye) but baby would not stop moving. So eventually they told me get up have some fresh air we'll start again soon.
I had a stroll, told them I'm ready to go back on the monitor again.. now I've been waiting to be put back on the monitor again for an hour 😑
Also I'm still leaking this stuff, it's getting darker pink/brown. I have let them know but they haven't said much.
Sorry for such a long post I would just love to have a chat with some of you to pass the time, the waiting around is excruciating and I'm sooooo bored.
