My bleeding stopped weeks ago, I also stopped wearing pads then too. I tend not to wear pants in house as been prone to yeast infections in past. The last two weeks I have noticed a stronger smell coming from there, it doesn’t smell like the typical associated BV. I do feel sweaty even though wash daily and have had chaffing there. I never use scented stuff always just water and same as I did before birth. I have started wiping again when drying at toilet instead of dabbing. I don’t feel stiches anymore and it was 2nd degree tear I had
My discharge on pants when wearing is kind of the same but also has maybe yellowish
Sometimes itch and feels sweaty in area of clit but not constant

no other symptoms or temp
can lochia smell - I didn’t notice before

I had this including the gap between lochia stopping and this smelly discharge. They dismissed it at the 6wk check saying it was still lochia remnants and that it can stop/start. Turned out to be a nasty strep B infection which wasn’t diagnosed until DS was 9.5wks old and I ended up ill and drained from it. Not only ill but also with a nasty rash like nappy rash from being constantly wet that then developed into contact dermatitis which needed treating for 2 bloody years with steroid cream. Horrible! Make sure they take you seriously.

What did they say at the 6 week check? I still have discharge (more dry and sticky tho), and it smells a bit fishy at 9 weeks postpartum. And get the slightly itchy clit area. I've used thrush cream but it doesn't seem to help. I otherwise feel ok so don't think it is an infection, but interested to what they say at your 6week appt. Google doesn't provide much info on this..
