What to pack to take with me as a Birthing Partner?

this is the first time I have to accompany a friend during delivery. I am just thinking about what I should maybe need to take with me, a spare pair of clothing just in case, snacks drinks etc. I am feeling slightly nervous about this, as I'm usually not good with seeing blood. Any tips appreciated. Thanks

Expect to be there for 24 hrs, might be less but might be more so good to plan for it.

Change of clothes and stuff to freshen up like deodorant and wipes. It's likely that shower facilities will be for patients only so it will be a sink and toilets freshen up.

Snacks, many snacks, again food provision will be for patients not birth partners and depending what time you arrive and leave you may not have access to the cafe/shop so crisps, bottles of juice, dried fruit, that kind of thing. If your friend is as unlucky as me she'll also miss every mealtime due to checks and end up so hungry she could eat the pillow so pack a few bits she'll like.

Devices and chargers so you have entertainment for any downtime or communication you need to do.

Hand cream and lip balm in your handbag too as it will be hotter than the fires of hades in the maternity section and dry.

Doubt you'll see much blood, that's all at the business end and you'll be up too comforting your friend. Baby gets wrapped up quickly and they aren't bloody just a bit messy and wet and wrinkled and amazing.
