When did you go to hospital?

Started having contractions yesterday but they weren't regular. Becoming more regular now and about 5 minutes apart and lasting 1 minute. Labour ward says to wait until they are unbearable and call back. At the moment they are manageable, just like intense period cramps. Intensity varies from each contraction. Am able to manage by walking around and a heat pad.

So just wondering when everyone finally went to hospital?

Aww glad to hear it @Nellie2710! And sometimes they turn in labour so baby might not have been back to back at all your appointments. Mine was in a great position till I hit around 4cm and then he turned and it was hell after that till he turned back again. Hope the rest is smooth sailing and you have your sweet baby soon x

Little baby Alice arrived this morning at 01:23 weighing 7lb1oz :)

Epidural was a godsend but still needed a bit of help from a vacuum cup in the end but all worked out :)

Thanks for all your support and kind messages along the way :)

Congratulations! Seems like it might have been a long and tiring labour for you so I'm really hoping you're getting some sleep now! Rest well and enjoy baby snuggles with Alice x
