Early labour? How did you feel in the weeks/days leading up to labour (I know, I know, this has been done to death!)

38+1 with my second, I was induced at 40+10 with my first so I have no idea what I'm looking for if I'm honest.

I have been having what I assume is false labour, a few contraction like pains sporadically throughout the day and yesterday nothing you can class as regular at all really and last night I spectacularly threw up my tea and have had more bowel movements than usual (not diarrhoea but more often definitely). Trouble is I can't decide if the pains I'm having are coming from needing to poo or if the pains are making me need a poo😂

It's a minefield! I am assuming because I was so overdue with my first I won't go early this time but would be reassuring to know if this is normal. I haven't eaten anything different to give me this generally unwell feeling.

So I'd be interested to hear how others felt in the few days/weeks before labour :)

Completely normal. Absolutely no signs at all. Woke up to a contraction at 6.30am. That was my first sign. I was 40+1.

Impatient. Irritable. Sick of everyone asking when the baby was coming.
