I'm 36 weeks pregnant with my first and feeling really emotional (I've not had any mood swings and my emotions have been steady throughout pg) the last 2-3 days. Baby has also been 1/5 engaged for 10 days and my stools are sticky and black (bit looser than normal) does this mean labour might be close? I thought I was starting 5 days ago as had contraction like pain and back ache but the contractions only last 10 seconds every 15 minutes for 6 hours and then stopped. Had period pain and back ache for the last 6 weeks or so, and midwife has just said everything is normal. Just feels like such a waiting game... not sure why I am asking on here maybe for someone to tell me the emotional feelings and teariness are normal...or it could be a sign?!
