Thought my waters broke but they hadn’t! 😮

I hope I’m not the only one! Went to hospital tonight (due to be induced tomorrow) as I thought my waters had broken in the shower. After being checked in hospital it was confirmed that they hadn’t. Could’ve been either lots of watery discharge/ urine due to immense bladder pressure. I’d be interested to hear any similar stories. I suppose when it’s your first, you really do not know what to expect?

A friend on mine went up as she thought hers had gone at about 32 weeks only t be told no, probably discharge or wee.

The worst part? She's a doctor on the labour ward and it was people she knew she had to see about it!!

I was told I had simply wet myself a bit. I honestly felt like I was in slow labour. 36hrs later I had a bleed and went back. 45mins after I arrived I gave birth. No idea when my waters broke but I knew full well my baby was coming. Trust your instincts, good luck!
