I've been told I'll have a ELCS at 38 weeks...that's only 10 weeks away!

ahhh so scary and weird and exciting!! Been told due to muscular issues and gestational diabetes i should have an ELCS at 38 weeks. That really doesn't seem very long.

I still don't have a single item of clothing or even a nappy for baby yet. Big ticket items are being delivered in a month.

any tips etc to prepare and/or help with recovery. I've had lots of surgeries before so not worried on that front but it just seems so close now!

Best get a wriggle on then OP. Bearing in mind you can naturally go into labour from 37 weeks, and this would be classed as term.

If you search ELCS I think I’ve commented on just about every post with a list of suggestions that worked for me. So exciting! It’ll be the best day EVER!
