Did you feel generally shit before you went into labour?

I'm 39+3 today, I'm measuring 41 weeks and I have bad PGP, I'm averaging 4h sleep a night and I also have a 3yo at home with me. I usually feel horrendous but today I feel extra horrendous. Just standing is zapping all my energy! My bump is also very sore and achey and I've had a few tightenings this morning.

Just wondered if anyone felt similar towards the very end?

@Bananapancakes6 have you had your bloods checked recently ?

I actually felt great up to the end and I went all the way to 42 weeks.

@shivawn I was the same in my first pregnancy. I was walking 6k at 42 weeks. Can barely stand up this time.

I feel really tired and like I’m going to burst after a meal. I’m only 36wks. Feeling like my insides are squished.

I felt exhausted all the time on the days leading up to labour, I could eat my dinner but it was always sick afterwards. Sometimes was sick randomly - certainly on the night before & day of giving birth I was sick every half hour or so. Had been stuck on the toilet at times if you catch my meaning. Had horrendous pain in my back so was in the bath and hot showers alot. I could barely sleep and if I did get a sleep it felt as though I hadn't slept. Had my mucus plug go on the saturday, bloody show on the tuesday then waters broke/gave birth the wednesday. Get as much rest as you possibly can and keep an eye on how your feeling.

@MazIsWin22 blimey that sounds pretty horrible. Interesting you say about the backache. My back has been agony for the past 3/4 days, particularly round the sides. I've been having hot baths too. Will keep an eye on things.
