Surrey hospitals / maternity - where to give birth

Frimley or Royal Surrey to give birth?

I'm due my first next year and would love to hear experiences or recommendations of both hospitals.

I can't help but feel the birth suites at frimley are a bit more relaxing and homely, compared to RSH that's quite clinical.

I’m currently 25 weeks pregnant and we are going to Frimley. We live smack bang in the middle of both hospitals so either would have been fine distance wise but I had a few friends who gave birth there where I knew no one who’d been to RS so that was a deciding factor for us. So far, I’ve been really impressed with the level care I’ve had. Personal choice for you OP but my vote so far would be Frimley

I had a tricky pregnancy from start to finish a permafure baby and two weeks in scbu. Royal Surrey were amazing. Could not have asked for anything more.

Frimley doesn't have special care but I have heard it has a lovely midwife led unit.

I'd go for proximity to your house becuause I think they are both very good
