I guess the title says it all! I am hoping for a VBAC but have to go into hospital first thing tomorrow morning to be induced due to risk of infection if nothing happens in the meantime. I can't believe nothing is happening, I'm trying to be positive but am struggling. Keep getting twinges but nothing painful or consistant. Has this happened to anyone else or can anyone offer any words of wisdom please?

Is it possible you could get some reflexology or acupuncture? It brought on strong contractions for me but sadly the minute I stepped into hospital they slowed down. Anything is worth a try? Good luck

wow, just logged on for the first time and how lovely to see all these messages. Thanks everyone! It really did make a difference to have lots of mumsnet experience last week and it certainly improved my mindset.
i am so thrilled I had a VBAC, even though it was a forceps job I feel in no way bothered by this but instead feel an enormous sense of satisfaction and accomplishment. Can't believe the difference in how I feel emotionally.
Our new daughter is, of course, gorgeous and we have called her Imogen Elizabeth. Just as lovely as her big sis.
Thanks again everyone.
