Scotland Level 0 - how long is your partner allowed in hospital?

Hi, anyone in Scotland who can tell me what their hospital’s visiting hours are for your partner after you’ve given birth? My hospital are still only allowing a 1 hour visit after he has left following the birth. I’m really hoping with the move to level 0 that will change but they seem to be one of the most strict around with visiting restrictions 😔 I’m having a c-section and know the staff will be helpful but I’d just way rather have my partner there to do things for a while and not be left on my own

I think hospitals will have their own policy. Its not just about Covid, its about staff off that are isolating and various things.

Each area can vary.
It might be best to phone a couple of days before your planned date as you're more likely to get accurate info.

I hope all goes well.

It'll be down to your trust rather than the government
