Lower belly hurt a lot during contractions in 2nd pregnancy

How come? It didn't hurt so much in my first birth...I literally had to hold it...even after the birth my stomach hurts when it cramps...i feel like I have to hold it...

I'm currently pregnant with my second and everything I look up does say you have stronger contractions and after pains with following pregnancies but labour is shorter. Something about your body being more in tune with what needs to be done. It's making me pretty nervous tbh.

Was your 2nd labour shorter than the first?

Thanks Yes very short. Contractions started at 2 am. 10 mins apart then 8 mins apart then at 5.30am after I rang the hospital to tell them 8 mins apart they were 2 mins apart. Went to hospital and delivered within 20 mins. I'd suggest going hospital as soon as they're 10 mins apart.
